Performance Psychologist and Coach
Dr. Athey is a licensed clinical and performance psychologist and national leader in performance psychology, leadership, crisis intervention, and developing nontraditional mental health and wellness programs for organizations. For over 20 years, she has consulted with NCAA Champions, Olympians, professional athletes, C-Level executives, and US Special Forces as well as served as a leader in scaling wellness and performance services.
As Chief Wellness Officer at the University of Arizona, she developed and deployed a campus-wide peer psychological first aid program in response to the COVID pandemic as well as scaled systemic wellness services. She was also the sport psychology consultant for the 2012 Rose Bowl Championship Football Team at the University of Oregon and served on the Human Performance Team for the US Naval Special Warfare Development Group. In contributing to the field as a performance psychology subject matter expert, Dr. Athey has delivered over 130 publications and presentations on high performance, strengthening teams, and wellness solutions and was named a Fellow in the Association for Applied Sport Psychology as national leader in high performance and wellness.
Performance Dietician
Kelsey is a Performance Dietitian specializing in high-performance and women’s health. She spent over 7 years with US Special Operations and currently consults with the Colorado Rockies, Colorado Avalanche, South Metro Fire Rescue, and Lakewood Police Department. Her areas of specialty include performance nutrition and understanding the unique demands of today’s world on one’s physiology. Her special interest areas include optimizing health and performance related to sleep, stress management and hormone health and understanding.
Kelsey focuses on an increased awareness of the various demands throughout the life cycle and nutrition’s role in peak job performance and prevention of long-term disease. She also has a vested interest in allostatic load, care for traumatic brain injury, fertility, heavy metal and environmental exposures, and gastrointestinal health.
Kelsey lives in Denver with her husband and two rambunctious little boys.
Physical Performance Coach
Aaron has spent the majority of his career in both the college and tactical strength and conditioning space. Aaron has been the Director of Strength and Conditioning at both James Madison University, and Texas State University and has had stops at Florida, Illinois, Bowling Green, and West Virginia. After leaving college football, Aaron began working for Naval Special Warfare Development Group, training our nation's most elite warfighters. While working with DEVGRU, Aaron grew the overall use of the human performance program and developed unprecedented buy-in to his training methods and programs.
Aaron prides himself on developing relationships first and finding ways to help people be their best, most effective selves. Aaron’s ability to effectively deal with high performers from diverse backgrounds will prove extremely valuable in helping you reach your full operating potential.
Performance Dietician
Chelsea is a Performance Dietitian for elite athletes and warfighters, including years at the Universities of Florida and Illinois, James Madison University and supporting the Navy SEAL community. She holds graduate degrees in both exercise science and nutrition. As a strong and influential leader in her field, she served as President of the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dieticians Association. Chelsea is an Idaho native who feels most alive while hiking in the mountains and resides in Virginia with her husband and two awesome and busy little boys.
Chelsea’s approach is to empower high performers with knowledge and habits to optimize physical and cognitive performance. She specializes in functional nutrition with a focus on longevity and vitality, aiming to expand life’s healthful years for as long as possible. Chelsea’s individualized approach includes actionable recommendations based on biomarkers and personal goals, without the use of meal plans or calorie counting.
Physical Performance Coach
Jamie Fox is a multifaceted human performance expert who has spent the past 14 years working with elite tactical athletes. He holds a Master of Science in kinesiology with an emphasis in sport and exercise psychology. As a national leader Human Performance, Jamie has extensive experience leading and developing programs optimizing physical and cognitive performance for various demographics throughout the military and business.
Jamie has 21 years of combined active and reserve service in the United States Marine Corps. He has served in senior advisory roles focused on service-wide human performance initiatives and currently serves as a reserve senior enlisted advisor. Jamie has a passion for performance and enjoys hiking, camping, and hockey. He volunteers as a youth hockey coach and enjoys bringing aspects of the high-performance model to youth athletes. Jamie prides himself on taking a commonsense approach to helping individuals reach their potential by employing scientific recovery methods and behavior-based interventions.
Health and Performance Data Scientist
Tim Clark is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Causa Health Science, and is the Director of Research and Development at Sparta Science. Tim has more than 15 years of experience directing research portfolios and leading multi-organization collaborative data science teams focused on sleep, physical activity, and circadian health promotion in high stress populations, physiological measurement using wearables, occupational health innovations, and privacy-preserving machine learning for health analytics. Tim has a MA in geography from the University of Maryland College Park, and is a PhD candidate in epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health, where his research focuses on evaluating the effects of gene by environment (e.g. sleep, physical activity) interactions on immune-mediated neurodegenerative diseases.
